Museum madness

Yestday we had a family day out, Zoran was able to take a Saturday off from working and we all caught the train into the city and visited the natural history museum. It was great, and jasper had a ball! The top pic is of jasper being a turtle! This one is of the scientist within - studying rocks through a magnifier, he was very upset when we couldn't bring a lovely green stone home, he even woke this morning talking about it (he has been collecting stones since he could walk and I had forgotten that there was such an emotional need as lately playdough, trains and dinosaurs have played significant roles).

We spent three hours in the museum and our little two year old was happy to keep going but we thought he could do with lunch so we walked up Oxford Street to an old cafe that has seen the street through all of it's phases. On the way there Jasper rode on top of Zoran's shoulders but fell asleep and slept for over an hour, so we had an indulgent lunch! JJ ate when he woke and we traipsed all the way home, arriving home just after 6pm.

Going home...

A lovely day - and we all slept all night last night - how wonderful!
