On our last day in Germany we met Amir and Antje and their children Navid and Ava. Navid is a year older than Jasper and Ava is Sequoia's age. Jasper has been constantly asking when he will go to preschool in each country we have visited, so he can play with other children. He was glad to be playing with some kids his own age. It was great to meet more family. Ali and Amir are my father's cousins.

Later we went to the park. On the way the kids played with everything they could find.



It had this great water pump which funelled the water into a rivulet through sand and the children could dig and play.

We went to another park with a rather fabulous merry-go-round.





In the afternoon we all sampled Berlin icecream. The shop was crowded, even the pavement was full of icecream gourmets!
