Turin and La Rocca
We packed so many wonderful trips into our stay with Viv - and Zoran got lots of Italian driving practice to prepare for our 4am drive to Milan airport, I think h was the slowest driver on an Italian road.

We drove into Turin to see the film museum. It is located in the icon of Turin, a tower which has an amazing glass elevator - like Charlie's with Wonka - that ascends up through the cavernous dome to a spire on the roof where there is an observation deck. Here is the misty view through the rain.

The film museum was fabulous. Here is Jasper in the camera obscura. There were working models of the history of cinema, sets from major movies, and all sorts of special effects.

Here Jasper, Sequoia and Zoran 'fall' through a long tunnel.

Jasper and Viv watching films in style!

Sequoia also enjoyed herself!

We spent the rest of the day strolling around the city centre. Jasper played in fountains with his gumboots on.

We wandered around the palace and through the main promenades past high end italian fashion.

The next day we hunter/gathered lunch from various shores in Cavour and drove up to La Rocca for a lovely long lunch in the sunshine. We finally saw the mountains.

Zoran and the kids resting in the square after a game of football.

Through the car window.

Up on La Rocca

Jasper and Sequoia took pics of each other.

More La Rocca shots.

Another wonderful day.
