March 2009

We went for a rain picnic in the rotunda at the park, and then caught the train up the line - one station - and back, and kids thought it was the best day ever - hooray. Cockatoos were covering the trees so everything looked like martha steward christmas trees decorated in large birds neatly arranged through the park. (Photo above I took early morning at Monavale beach)

Sequoia discovered my lipstick - my favorite one which I never get to wear - and enjoyed the creative process of exploration in colour and texture...hmmm

And more rainy days led to pants free box play...sequoia has learnt what fun an older brother can be...

The joys of siblings when the are happy together - and asleep!

We had another round of hospital trips this month. Sequoia's hearing has been sorted out - she no longer has grommets - which is why she cant hear - they grew out only a year too early for some unknown reason. So the little blossom is back on the hospital list and has to wait until September before she gets more and probably her adenoids out too... She did and avocado challenge and seems to be no longer allergic - although they only managed to get a teaspoon into her so I am not sure how definitive it is. But there was no copious vomiting or crazy swelling.

I had some work this month which was fantastic. Two photography shoots for some yoga teachers. One was a dawn shoot on the beach. It felt so good to be behind the camera again! Here are a few images.
