Birthday month

Zoran and mine and Jaspers. Jasper really wanted a party (wanted to invite all of his lovely mother's group pals, as well as his entire preschool class, and some new friends we've made in music and dance activities) but too much has been happening, burst pipes, house renovations, chaos, Zoran's mum unwell... so I couldn't do one but Anita sweetly created a surprise family birthday celebration in Wollongong on mother's day. They had cake and presents and Jasper's cousins to play with and Jasper was so chuffed! Also, at the last minute, we said that Jasper could have an outing and he chose to go bowling which was another great excuse to have a birthday cake!



Alex and Jorja from music class joined us and also J's friend Chloe. Alex's sister jess who is the same age as Sequoia bowled too - and Sequoia was in the smallest bowling shoes that are available.





Zoran was amazing, taking each child through every shot and making it fun for them all while I mitigated kiddie toilet runs, drink needs, hunger pangs, and entertained while they waited for their turn.



Sequoia thought it was lots of fun - even though she could only just see over the ball stand!! She thought it was her brithday as well - on tuesday may 12, she woke up and said, mummy's birthday yesterday, JJs morrow, today is mine birthday! (Cluey little munchkin)

And cake, which jasper sweetly shared blowing out candles excitement with his sister...



Also here is the missing mosaic pic, and I will post more pics when I get them from Anita and also from Ann with whom we visited a fantastic woolly mammoth exhibition at the museum yesterday.
