Two weeks at home.

Hello Baby...

Let me tell you a story...

And now for a kiss...
I can't believe we've been home almost two weeks, it feels amazing! Sequoia (yes, we have finally chosen one of the shortlisted names - sky for short) is sleeping in our room and jasper is happy to have us all here every day with him. He continues to love preschool, and is very proud of the fact that he gets there on the back of his daddy's bicycle, to the envy of all other kids whose parents drive them. Little girlie is growing well, slowly but well. We had a scare the last few weeks, a duct in her heart was leaking (PDA), we had to keep her at home with no visitors, no germs, and we spent hours on Friday at Westmead Children's Hospital seeing paediatric Cardiologists - to find that it closed all by itself and her heart is functioning healthily! They think it may have closed Thursday night as her laboured breathing was much better, and she fed without being breathless...isn't the human body and amazing thing! Apparently these baby ducts can close very quickly when the body puts out the correct hormones to trigger a response! So life is still full of dramas, just when one subsides another appears in its place - it certainly has been a stress filled three years since leaving Melbourne and moving to Sydney, the things that have happened in our lives, to us and around us...

At the childrens hospital we found this great construction kit which makes all sorts of dofferent vehicles, Jasper and i make a new one each day, either from our imagination or from instructions.

The crane was fun.

They both fell asleep in the car and were moved to the loungeroom!
Today is a beautiful windy day with strong sunshine. Zoran is out the back digging clay away from the foundations so that the subsoil drains properly and cuts out the rising damp in the house, Jasper is 'helping' him, and I am having a little break after feeding one child and attending to the other, before I start on dinner.

Sweet dreams.
Hope everyone is well, happy and finding the positive in the world.
Txx
